I treasure the "fancy dress" my maternal grandmother made.
I have an original photo and the dress.
I don't ever remember seeing the hat though.

ReplyDeleteShe did lots of sewing, knitting and crocheting until her hands wouldn't work properly Vera. She didn't teach me to sew (I'm hopeless), but she did teach me to knit and crochet.
